LEAD Programme/Advanced LEAD Programme
Introduction
The Home Affairs Department engages tertiary institutions to deliver the LEAD Programme to provide structured training for office-bearers of owners' corporations (OCs). The programme enables participants to discharge their duties more effectively by enhancing their professional knowledge in building management and their awareness of the requirements under the Building Management Ordinance (Cap. 344) through systematic training. Topics covered by the programme include the sources of powers for building management, regulations on meetings of Management Committees and OCs, OCs' procurement and financial arrangements, OCs' management of common parts of buildings, and how disputes regarding building management can be resolved.
Graduates may join the Advanced LEAD Programme for a more in-depth study of specific topics on building management.
A statement of attendance will be awarded to participants with an overall attendance rate of 70% or above.
